My husband and I have been members of Direct Plus for over six years. My husband and I joined Direct Plus shortly after buying our home. The home need some updating, so we promptly used Direct Plus to purchase some new window blinds, bathroom vanities and countertops. Not long after that, we bought a small lake cottage that was clearly still living in the 70's--brown carpet and laminate cabinetry. We had a contractor gut it for us and we purchased all our materials through Direct Plus: flooring, cabinets, countertops, plumbing, beds and lighting. While we needed to transport those materials to the cottage--we managed to do that in the back of our minivan and with a small trailer--we still saved an enormous amount of money.
